World Food Prize Building Wedding
As an exclusive vendor for the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates in Des Moines, I am continually inspired by the beauty of this space. The tasteful, classic decor lends itself as the perfect setting to an elegant, timeless wedding. A true asset to the Des Moines wedding scene, a World Food Prize wedding boasts an endless array of stunning backdrops, all of which require little to no extra decor to set the beautiful ambiance you are desiring.
The curated gardens designed by nationally recognized landscape architect Hoerr Schaudt provide tranquility and soft beauty, whether you are planning on an outdoor wedding, cocktail hour, or simply a locale for bridal portraits.
The interior’s focal point is the rotunda with its glass floor, encircled by marble columns which lead to the second floor by way of the grand staircase with its stained glass window.
The World Food Prize Building wedding of Elizabeth & Paul //
Originally planned as a large celebration, Elizabeth and Paul’s wedding day shifted due to COVID-19. Making the decision to pare their guest list down to simply their bridal parties and immediate families, they navigated the changes with grace. This smaller and more intimate day provided the setting for meaningful speeches and an air of comfort and familiarity with their close tribe.
Ending the night with a joy-filled rendition of “Kiss Me I’m Irish,” this groom with Irish blood in his veins danced heartily with his new bride encircled by the love and support of those celebrating with them.
